Established in 2008, Designated Exceptional Services For Independence is a nonprofit organization that dedicates itself to servicing people with disabilities. We have developed a program of Community Integration and are now incorporating Supported Employment and Supported Living. We believe in collaborating with parents, caretakers, and other individuals to ensure that our clients are receiving a continuum of care.
It has been stated that 17% of all children under the age of 18, suffer from some form of Intellectual disability. Our agency focuses on empowering and educating our clients as well as their families. We wish to provide our clients with a brighter future by teaching them to live independently. We understand the prevalence and major risk factors that people with intellectual disabilities face. We strive to promote the successful integration of persons with intellectual disabilities within the community. We encourage the equalization of opportunities for persons with intellectual disabilities.
